Q
Plus QP 606 is an oil-soluble, heat-stable compound of
metal conditioner in a light petroleum carrier. It
penetrates the metal surfaces, smoothing and sealing
them without build-up or change in tolerances. It is
completely compatible with any type of brand of
petroleum oil or grease.
QP 606 reduces friction drag which makes industrial
machinery start easier thus requiring less power to
place it in operation. It also reduces time required for
maintenance and lessens the chance of failure in
mass-production work. It also increases the delivered
power output of the machinery.
Microscopic irregularities of moving metal surfaces are
smoothen and sealed with QP 606. Consequently, reducing
bearing temperatures and wear making failures or
seizures due to heat or overloading conditions reduced,
thus, decreases repair costs and increases the time
which machinery can be run between overhauls thereby
minimizing non-profitable downtime.
QP 606 has a chemical attraction for moving metals. It
penetrates the metal surfaces while smoothing them. This
penetration of moving metal surfaces enables the metal
conditioner to create a protective shield against
extreme temperatures, boundary lubrications, acids and
other corrosion causing contaminants regardless of the
variation in the amount of contaminants present.
DIRECTIONS
PLEASE
NOTE: Add QP 606 at each lubrication and oil change
specified by manufacturer or at the intervals specified
below if manufacturer recommends less frequent
intervals. QP 606 is specially compounded to be used
with industrial petroleum lubricants in the following
proportions :
-
Stationary
gasoline or diesel engines
Add
to oil in crankcase every 300 hours in the
proportion of 2 % by volume to oil in unit.
-
Mechanical
drive units (Industrial transmissions and gearboxes)
Add
to lubricant in unit of 6% every 2000 hours.
-
Hydraulic
systems
NOTE:
NEVER ADD TO BRAKE FLUID
Add to fluid in unit of 2% of volume in unit. Repeat
treatment whenever fluid is changed or every 1000
hours.
-
Bearings
Add
to lubricant in the following proportions:
- Oil-lubricated
– 2% to volume to oil in unit
- Grease-lubricated
– 6% to volume to grease in unit
-
Air
compressors
Add
to oil crankcase every 300 hours in the proportion
of 2% to volume to oil in unit. Add to oil in
upper oiler in the proportion of 2% to volume to
oil in unit.
-
Refrigeration
compressors
NOTE:
DO NOT USE WITH SULFER DIOXIDE REFRIGERANT.
Add to oil in crankcase every 2500 hours in the
proportion of 2% to volume to oil in unit.
-
Wire
cables
Add
to lubricant in the following proportions:
- Spray
lubricated – 10% to volume to oil in unit
- Dipped
– 25% to volume to oil in unit
-
Air
tools
Add
lubricant in the proportion of 1% to volume to oil
in unit.
SPECIAL NOTE:
When adding QP 606 to bulk oil or grease, agitate
thoroughly to insure even blending.
